Our Grants
Area of Greatest Need
Make an immediate impact when and where the need is greatest. This fund supports the ongoing needs of Artesia General Hospital and allows us to serve as a destination for health for all our patients.<br>
Educational Fund
Established in 2022, this fund is used for community education initiatives and materials to support our NHA national certification programs. In addition it is used for student payment of NHA coursework
Capital Fund
This fund supports critical capital initiatives at Artesia General Hospital, including cutting-edge technology and equipment, service line growth and campus expansion in Artesia, Carlsbad and beyond.
Joe Schiel Scholarship Fund
Established in 2008, this fund awards scholarships to hospital employees who pursue continuing education in health care. Your investment helps hospital employees grow professionally-allowing Artesia General Hospital to best serve our patients and community.
Employee Emergency Assistance Fund
This fund provides emergency grants to hospital employees who experience a catastrophic event or emergency hardship. Your gift ensures that hospital employees never feel alone during an unexpected crisis.
Womens Services
This fund supports essential healthcare services and programs for women in our community. Contributions to this fund help provide access to preventive screenings, mental health support, and wellness education. Every donation makes a direct impact by ensuring women receive the care and support they need, regardless of their ability to pay.
Transportation
This fund was established to provide assistance for our community members who can not afford our transportation costs and also for van maintenance.
